In 1999, he concluded his studies at the CNDSM in Paris with a first prize in guitar with Alberto Ponce, as well as the Diplôme de Formation Supérieure. He performs as a soloist in various festivals (notably at the Printemps des Arts in Monaco) and enriches his chamber music practice with several ensembles -Ysire, Rosaces, Polychronies, Alchemy- which are invited in France and abroad. The Miscellaneous vocal-guitar duo (formed with soprano Céline Barcaroli) gave 80 concerts during a tour of France in 2015/16. Tristan Manoukian also pursues a work of highlighting unpublished repertoires through arrangements, work supported by the Canadian publisher Les Productions d'Oz. He holds the Certificat d'Aptitude and after having taught for 17 years at the CRR of Nice, he is currently a guitar teacher at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régionnal de Lyon. Since September 2017, he is a guitar teacher at the CNSM of Paris where he also teaches didactics.
